Water Damage Technician Job Summary:

Assist in retaining customers by delivering timely and effective restoration services, fulfilling the company’s commitments.

Water Damage Technician and Floor Cleaning Operator Responsibilities:

Perform various floor cleaning and water damage restoration services, including carpet and floor cleaning, odor remediation, fire and smoke damage restoration, mold and mildew remediation, water restoration, and crime scene cleanup.
Commute to the storage garage daily by 7am-8am, then proceed to restoration jobs or carpet cleaning.
Conduct pre-departure and end-of-day cleaning and refilling activities.
Maintain the appearance and stock of tools, materials, and supplies in company vehicles.
Manage inventory of related supplies.
Exemplify the brand in appearance, behavior, speech, and attire, leading with a customer-first, brand-first mentality.
Communicate effectively with customers.
Complete necessary restoration documentation.
Perform basic equipment and vehicle maintenance.
Inspect completed work.
Complete the technician’s daily log.
Fulfill Work Orders.
Recap the day with management.

Water Damage Technician Qualifications:

Education and Experience: High school diploma (or GED).
Mathematical Skills: Adequate math skills with the ability to apply learned techniques for equipment selection.
Computer Skills: Basic proficiency in computer usage, email, and portable devices for reporting and recording daily activities.
Certificates, Licenses, and Registrations: Certification in relevant services such as Water Mitigation, Mold, etc.
Water Restoration and Carpet Cleaning experience is a plus +++ (but not required)
